Meeting the need for sustainable, environmentally friendly development is a challenge that Cadenza gladly accepts.

This positive approach helped Cadenza achieve planning consent for a 50,000 sq ft
regeneration project in the heart of Leicester, where a derelict warehouse was converted into modern usable accommodation that fits into Leicester’s ‘urban design framework.’

Cadenza had to take into account environmental and social considerations, including the historic value of this site, its relationship to its immediate surroundings and worked closely with the Leicester Regeneration Company.

The subsequent plans for maintaining and enhancing the existing building enabled Cadenza to achieve residential planning consent within six months. The project was then sold to the Metropolitan Housing Trust for the creation of a mixed tenure housing development.
